Model Context Protocol

Our Smart Data Archive works with the Model Context Protocol by serving as a highly governed, secure source of AI-Ready Archival Data. The archived data is indexed, secure, and searchable, which allows it to be treated as a unified asset alongside live data. When a user query requires historical or archived context, Copilot sends the request to the MCP server which accesses the archive index. Because the archive is AI-Ready, the MCP can instantly pull the specific, governed Smart Data Collections instead of having to search the entire historical volume of the archive. The Model Context Protocol acts as the secure, actionable interface that translates an AI's request into a governed action executed on the clean data curated by our archives.
